High:Five prepares the way for businesses who wish to help young people on the edge.
Are you young and ready to get working? High:Five helps you find the right job with the right company.
For best results, we need the support of the district authorities, the Prison and Probation Service, the police and other stakeholders.
Every day, High:Five is contacted by many parents or other relatives who are worried about a young family member.
High:Five now organises two annual mentoring courses. We are currently well into the spring mentoring course, and this autumn we will hold another one starting on 5 September 2011.
We also organise a Mentors’ Networking Day for all those mentors who have already completed the High:Five Mentoring Course. This year, the networking day is scheduled for 3 October 2011 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Even though each of our matches of young people with businesses is just as unique as the young person and business involved, we have nevertheless tried to describe the typical progress of a return-to-work process.
High:Five is trying to change the prevailing attitude towards criminal records and to establish a coordinated effort between the police, the Kriminalforsorgen (Prison and Probation Service), the district authorities and other stakeholders.
